HOSA – Future Health Professionals

Health Occupation super seniors, Sarah Labasik and Nautica Goe from New Brighton School-District were greeted on the first day of school with a $500 scholarship from Johnson & Wales University. They were presented with these because of their 3rd place win at PA State Leadership HOSA-Future Health Professionals conference… Their presentation was on “The Dangers of Vaping”. Great way to start the year, ladies! Ms. Cairns and Ms. Izz are so proud!

Mikel & Mya are pictured first. Not only do they go to HOSA Nationals to compete, but they also have managed to add to their credentials, The American College of Surgeons Stop the Bleed’ Certification.
