Ms. Jessica Main, Director of Business Administration at Questeq, an Educational Technology Management Company, spoke to visiting high schools students from Central Valley High School yesterday on Tuesday, February 12th.

Ms. Main addressed several professional topics with the CV visitors, who are considering if career and technical education is appropriate for them.  She talked about subjects that included, nontraditional genders in certain jobs, how academics are related to careers, and why it’s important to pay attention to interests in our personal lives because you never know where that is going to lead you. Entrepreneurial business and working with family members was also covered.

Ms. Main ended her presentation by telling the students how important it is to do volunteer work and work with various charities. She informed the students of a personal cancer story and explained how she also now leads a charity for cancer patients called, “Blessed Bag“. She encouraged the students to share her charity to those they may know with cancer in the hopes that they may benefit from the organization.
