Tuesday, September 10, 2019, Pittsburgh’s Section of the American Welding Society Plant Tour occurred at Chaos Fabrication, located in Washington, PA.
Eight Officers of the Beaver Valley Student Chapter of AWS were in attendance along with Mr. Carl Cosentino, BCCTC’s Welding Instructor and Mr. Thomas Geisler, BCCTC’s Cooperative Education Coordinator.
Chaos Fabrication builds over-sized and modified pulling tractors as well as offers specialty fabrication for the pharmaceutical industry. Mr. Campbell, Owner of Chaos Fabrication, toured the group throughout the facility and our students and staff were overwhelmed with the custom fabrication techniques, the integration of machinery, and their manufacturing processes.
Mr. Cosentino said, “Thank you for a GREAT AWS meeting! My students loved the shop and are very happy to be a part of AWS.”
BCCTC cannot THANK Chaos Fabrication enough for the tour and their hospitality!
