AUTOMOTIVE TECHNOLOGY INSTRUCTOR
~ 4 years of current full-time work experience
~ NATEF/ASE credentials are a plus
~ Must be willing to enroll and complete vocational teaching certification or currently possess a
PA Vocational Teaching Certificate
~ The program prepares individuals to apply technical knowledge and skills to repair, service and maintain all types of automobiles. Instruction includes brake systems, electrical systems, heating and AC systems, engine repair and transmissions.

COLLISION REPAIR TECHNOLOGY INSTRUCTOR
~ 4 years of current full-time work experience
~ I-CAR experience a plus
~ Must be willing to enroll and complete vocational teaching certification or currently possess a
PA Vocational Teaching Certificate
~ The program prepares individuals to apply technical knowledge and skills to repair, reconstruct and
finish automobile bodies and fenders. Instruction includes structure analysis, plastics and adhesives,
painting and refinishing techniques and estimating.

CULINARY ARTS INSTRUCTOR
~ 4 years of current full-time work experience
~ Must be willing to enroll and complete vocational teaching certification or currently possess a
PA Vocational Teaching Certificate
~ The program prepares individuals in production and service used in governmental commercial or
independently owned institutional food establishments and related food industry occupations.
Instruction includes selecting, storing, preparing and serving food and food product, basic nutrition,
sanitation and food safety. The use and care of commercial equipment and serving techniques is also
covered.

COOPERATIVE EDUCATION COORDINATOR
~ A valid PA Certificate for Cooperative Education is required
~ The program provides a cooperative agreement between the CTC and employers. The student receives
educational instruction and on-the-job training through part-time employment in the business industry.

BUILDING AND GROUNDS SUPERVISOR
~ Possess technical knowledge and skills to manage all aspects of the building and grounds function
including facility control systems and industrial-rated mechanical equipment. Additionally, possess
supervisory and leadership abilities to direct support personnel in maintaining a clean, safe and
functional building.

Acts 34, 151 and 114 clearances required prior to employment. EOE.

Please Note:

As a reference, Acts 24, 34, 114, 151, 168 clearances are required for all positions for employment at BCCTC. You will also need to provide a letter of intent, your resume, copies of any or all certifications earned, and three (3) professional references.

Clearances are required for ALL school employees.

  • Act 34 Clearance is a CRIMINAL HISTORY REQUEST from the PA State Police 
    *Note – Do NOT choose “volunteer” as an option for Reason for Request as it may delay processing; choose “school district” and there is a $22.00 fee (credit card required)
  • Act 151 Clearance is the CHILD ABUSE clearance and you will need to create a new account on the Child Welfare Portal; there is an $8.00 fee (credit card required)
  • Act 114 Clearance is the FBI CRIMINAL HISTORY BACKGROUND CHECKS; You will need to schedule fingerprinting at the BVIU (Beaver Valley Intermediate Unit) or at another facility who conducts that service. *Note – There will be a cost for this service. Once fingerprinting is completed, fingerprints will be submitted for processing. The individual will receive a receipt from the Identogo site, which includes the Universal Enrollment ID (UEID). A copy of this receipt should be submitted to The Beaver County CTC’s Main Office.
